“I am taking time to determine who I want to be as a person, as a friend, and a girlfriend.”

Karina is a student at Winter Park High School and participates in the Choir and Color Guard. Over the last couple of years she purchased boutonnieres for various proms and homecomings she has attended. Originally, we asked her to come into our shop and take photos with a boy she was dating to represent “young love.”

Unfortunately, it was also “fleeting love.”

Karina is a strong young lady who knew this breakup was an opportunity for her to grow and practice self love. “I am taking time to determine who I want to be as a person, as a friend, and a girlfriend.” She has taken this loss as a way for her heart to make more room for her desires, her hopes and her future.
Love is hopeful.
