Hanh Nguyen’s daughter Olivia wrote to us about her mom and how she felt she was already a winner, and we agreed. Hanh came to the United States from Vietnam at only 18 years old when her mom and dad and siblings relocated here to start a new life. She spoke no english, but went to work right away working several jobs to ensure the family had everything they needed to survive in their new country. Hanh also knew that education was very important so she taught herself english and enrolled in school working hard and eventually earning a degree in electrical engineering.
She went on to have 2 amazing and beautiful daughters, Olivia and Christine, whom she raised as a single mom, making sure they had a good life. Her girls give her all the credit for making them the strong, independent, and loving women they are today and say they can’t thank her enough for all she’s done for them. We are thrilled to introduce you to Hanh, and happy to help her daughters say a special thank you on this Mother’s Day.
